I think one is suitable, since these situations aren't just one-way.

Since the 80s and even before to today, situations like this are common, happening to both sexes and, now, maybe those in the LGBT partnerships, too.

Many young folks today don't even know who he is let alone this song except some old old folks. 

Xab's music is very unique so not sure which female singers would do a great rendition. 

I think this one might do a good job:  She has a strong raspy voice and can do heavy metal/ rock n roll  as well as soft.
