I binged Stranger Things within this past week.  I can certainly say that I truly enjoyed it.  It took me a while to watch because I haven't had time set aside for Netflix.  I love the fact that it is set in the 80s.  There are many references to Dungeons and Dragons and Lord of the Rings and all the Easter eggs of the 80s era; He-Man action figures, Tom Cruise wall posters without a frame, brightly colored mohawk, VHS players, 80s music, of course, and the Ford Pinto, etc.  I will have to admit, the second season wasn't as strong as the first but still enjoyable.

Season 3 > Season 1 > Season 2

Season 3 was a big improvement for the show. Better writing. Better acting. Each character and episode set up to converge at the climax in a way that made sense. So much better than Season 2 which was just a mess.
