What are your thoughts on these online savings?  The pros and cons?
I believe CapitalOne has an online savings account that yield about 1.40% on a $10k savings.

When I was in college, my roomie and I did just that.  We deposited just chump change into an offshore account to fund the criminals.  It grows fast cuz the interest was ridiculously high.  Criminals no care about the interest rates.  No one can give them the loan so anything the loan shark ways will yield big bucks.  Yes, loan shark online is just like BTC today.  The concept is the same.  No regulation cuz the internet is or was virgin n unregulated.

We got scared so we cash out.  If we go down, non of us would get our diploma or be put in jail.

Not sure if such website still exist today but I'm sure there is but under a different name.  Can't trust nobody these days either.
