I have a co-worker that puts vapor rub on everything... for instance, we went for a walk, I fell, she put vapor rub on the scrape. I had a zit forming.. she said lets put vapor rub on it. Her hands are ashy, she put vapor rub on it, my other co-worker said she was losing hair, my coworker swears the vapor rub will help it grow back....

Funny thing is, I've let her put vapor rub the scrape and the zit. LOL

what always works for me is a kiss. 
scraped my knees, (you) kiss it...it's all better now.
hurt my heart, kiss me..it's all heal now.
i especially like to use the kiss when my head hurts, just kiss and make it swollen, it'll be better after it explodes.

other than that,  behind the counter sudafed, works wonders for me!

I was going to say VICK's vapor rub too! lol!

I haven't gone to the extreme yet on rubbing everything w/ Vicks ...when I don't have mosquito repellant nearby I rub it onto my skin to rid off the bugs...when I was younger, my mother would put vicks on our bruises, on our skin directly on the area after getting our shots from the dr., headaches and when we get our fingers jammed on a door...

LOL ! I swear my coworker must be your mom's long lost sister. hehehehe she thinks it cures all.

I used Vick's too. I love any kind of mint rub. I have one at work as well for when I feel a headache is coming.    I recently ordered this creme on Amazon and OMG, it's my go to creme for INFLAMMATION and PAIN.  It's called PENETREX and the best for muscle soreness. I rub this thing on my feet when it's tired or sore muscle. Amazing stuff because it really works!
