if the men can do it, why can't the women?

i applaud those who rather cherish their own kind than run off with whites, blacks and/or hispanics (not that they're bad or anything).  these young hmong men needs a ticket to freedom too!

i'd like to retract what i've said.  i would discourage and/or advise against these old ladies going overseas and marrying them young coocoonuts, however i do encourage them to go and use them for pleasure, as needed.

for one, these women already know these young men are just using them (upfront) and will never be faithful.  they already know the relationship is likely to fail.  to marry one will cost them a gucci bag, to bring them over will be in the thousands, and not the mention, the monthly money she has to send for his support while he awaits extradition to the USA.

if they really want to marry one from overseas, at least look for one who's matured, single and of one who matches in age...a higher percentage of a successful marriage.

Young people oversea prefer older folks (the older the better) because they know the old folks are going to die soon and can't have kids - no baggage later on.  AND on top of that - they get to keep the life savings ($$) of these old folks.

An old woman went to Laos, met a teenage boy and talked to him for a bit. After her two-month grand tour of Vientiane, she returned to Minnesota. The guy kept calling her and said he was deeply in love with her and if she didn't marry him, then he would die.

Plane ticket bought, she hopped onto plane and went through the sky within 24 hours.

Two years later, he came over. But within that first week, he demanded that they purchase a life insurance policy for her with him being the beneficiary; he wanted her to put him on all of her bank and retirement accounts. An uncle of hers said he wasn't a citizen yet and he couldn't hold such things. He said some others had done it before...

She did buy him a plane ticket back to Laos. But he begged to stay. Then he ran off to some local runaways like him, too. (They have teamed up--all those young ones who got here but didn't want to stay married.)

A few weeks later, he came back to sleep in her chicken coop.

Young people oversea marrying into US - we should sympathized w/ them instead of ridicule, indifference, or dislike.  They are a product of their life circumstance.

There's an old woman in my town who just married an oversea hmong guy in his early 20's.  She's on cloud nine but I can see the sadness in his eyes.

Ok, let's do a little role reversal here.  If you were living in Laos, would you marry an old man/woman for a chance at a better life?

Hmmm, if I was in that situation, the possibility exist.   But then I'll be a skinny, tan, big eye, and bushy hair girl so  the chances are slim ehhehehehehehh eheheh ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D  I'll be the last to get pick so.....just saying ;D ;D ;D ;D  because I'd be a diamond in the rough - it takes a"knowing" eye to spot  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
