In Korea there is a word called Chaebol combing the wealth and clan.  According to this article, the chaebol have too much money, power and influence.  Is American heading towards this?  What are your thoughts?

The problem isn't that wealthy people are oppressing the poor. Never before has there been so many opportunities for people to become wealthy. The only thing standing in anybody's way is STIFF COMPETITION.

Take for example EDUCATION. The more available it is and the more people have access to it, the stakes get raised. A bachelor degree is nothing in today's modern world.

Many people will get left behind when technology and opportunities are abundant. It is the unintended consequences of freedom.

Nonetheless, I disagree with the Leftist narrative that we're all starving poor. The Left has a very distorted picture of poverty since they typically gauge everything through materialistic lens. Just because a person is not living in a mini-mansion and eating out twice a week does not make them poor.

The Left are those who claim that money isn't important yet they are overly preoccupied with it. ROFL! And not only that but they always want to steal it from the affluent.  :idiot2:

Life is a lottery.   If you happen to won the sperm lottery and was born to a rich parents, you might not even have to work.

If you happen to be born with disability to a single mom in the hood, your chance of living to be 18 is small.

I wish life was fair.  You just have to deal with the card life handed to you.  But we can always help a little.

I just love how you think that rich kids don't have to work. They don't have to work like you and me per se, but they do have to keep the family business from running into the ground after mom and dad are gone. This means they actually have to know how to run a business by making good business decisions and navigating through all the complex regulations, not to mention how to stay in the industry against their competitors. Much more pressure than you or I will ever have to face, but yet only you think you work harder.  :idiot2:

Most people can't even run an ice cream stand and turn it into something profitable YET YOU THINK RICH PEOPLE HAVE IT TOO EASY WHEN IT COMES TO WORK.

The Waltons didn't place 1, 2, 3, and 4 on Forbe's billionaire list because they twiddle their thumbs at home.

When I worked in management, I found that most people are super lazy yet they want to get paid like a CEO.

I also find your bias completely distasteful. You basically demonize and want to punish the kid born to rich parents while showing sympathy for the one born to poor parents, as if either one was in control of who their birth parents are. Does the rich kid have to be given up for adoption to poor parents in order to gain your sympathy? Or is he always a rich kid? Maybe poor people should stop having kids then if it distresses the likes of you.

I also get the feeling that when you say "help", you really mean "give money" for the things you want in life. You people are so preoccupied with taking other people's money via government imposed taxation or something of the likes. What about knowledge? What about tips and advice? What about your own desire to be successful and wealthy that you would do anything?

I understand charity. I understand random acts of kindness. But that's not what you socialists are demanding. You really think those with wealth should support you. They should be your ATM machines or something.

I really don't understand where many of you get off that somebody else should pay for your way.
