Robot cars vs. Manual Driving
« on: May 30, 2018, 05:27:05 PM »
Do you think in the future, man will make manual driving illegal? I mean, I see it coming where robotic cars will just take us anywhere we wish to go on our occasion since man will perfect robot cars in the future. What do you think?

What's your opinion on robotic cars taking you to whatever you go; yet, you can sleep in the car as you arrive to your destination...

Will manual driving be illegal?

I was hoping to see aerodynamic cars but will settle for self driving cars. Would love to see this perfected before my time is up.

It will take a long time before the society will feel the need to go autonomous.  The culture is hesitant to take on what society have been used to for ages now.

We see the flaws with them and as technology advances for our safety, society will slowly accept it once the prices is leveling out as an affordable mode of transportation

To speed up the process, government regulations can force our living and spending habits.  Like for example, if I can't find parts to fix my car because the government puts a ban on all foreign auto products then I will have no choice but to buy what is practical for the world that I am living in right now.

Until then, I still enjoy my driving habits.

Well, that'll be a sad day.  We are  going to have overweight people.

The "joy" of driving will be an idea of the past and won't exist.

I can see a lot of issues coming from it.  Cars getting electronically hijacked.

But there are good things as well, the elderly can get to where they need too safely.  We won't need DD's anymore.

I went through all 15k posts and those 2 quotes I found were the only ones so I guess that would make it "everytime".  Feel free to go through all 15k posts and verify by quoting them all.  You need to quote them all to verifying prove "everytime".   Please verify that Im wrong.

How does having self driving cars lead to having overweight people? So how many pounds do you lose while manually driving a car?  :idiot2:

Love your thoughts about this. Since oil is going to be obsolete pretty soon, cars may run on only electricity without oil fuel. What's your opinion on robotic, electric fuel cars?

It doesn't matter if oil is obsolete,  the oil industry dictates what kind of fuel we use in our cars.
