ROFL! Ph Libtards wracking their brain over the ruling...
....you're all wrong. The reason why the supreme court ruled in favor of the baker is because the Colorado courts discriminated against him. There was already a previous Colorado case in which the court sided with a baker who refused to write a Christian verse that was played up to denounce homosexuality. If the courts are going to allow that baker to refuse a 'custom' cake then they should allow Jack Phillips to opt out of baking a customized cake.
Customers do not have rights to a 'customized' product. Business owners do not have to produce a "customized" item if it expresses a message that violates their deeply held beliefs. That includes secularists who don't want to customize a message that says "atheists should die". In fact, business owners do not have to produce any customization that would misrepresent their brand.
"Customization" is the operative word here. Wedding cakes are always "customized". They also express a message and that's why they are called "wedding" cakes. Masterpiece Cakeshop reserves their right not to bake a customized wedding cake that would express any marriage outside of a heterosexual union.
