Few people actually want to get to this level and few achieve what Maxwell terms the Fifth Level of Leadership. The various religious icons and other leading figures in history and businesses are examples.

At this level, people follow you simply because of what you are and what you represent. This person is bigger than life. Followers may not
necessarily be your direct contacts but those who have been touched by your work.

Jesus had the disciples all who spread his touch to even today's followers.

To get there, one must conform to all the other levels below this level. But if one has complied with levels 1 through 4 as previously posted, this level 5
just comes along.
