I'd still go every year, provided that I can!
It's the only time I get to see my Hmong people ... many in one place.

My family and I had been going to J4th since 1988 ... with a few years missed, due to other commitments.  We'll continue to go when we can.

Now, you realize how much more enticing the papaya salad offer is.

No but made me realize you should include Nam Van and anything "cool & refreshing" because whomever spend all that time looking out for a certain person is going to need it .....especiall y w/ the blistering sun beating down.  You know what you could wear that will be easily spotted or stand out - a hawaiin island shirt.  Not too many people wear things like that and perfect for the weather.

Is your son still playing flag football?  I'll be there also to support my volleyball player.

Okay. Nab vam and papaya salad.

Did you know that the hotter the heat is the better hot pepper dishes taste, e.g. papaya salad with 19 peppers or so?

Doesn't matter because I'll be in cool place w/ a cool drinks nearby, wind brushing my air in the middle of crystal blue water.  That's more enticing heheheheheheh. ..FYI, learned my lesson.

No, my sons don't play flag football anymore.   One got married and the other one is getting old.
We're not coming this year because we have a wedding and a funeral to go to.

Perhaps next year we'll see you and your family???
