They were found in a chamber containing the so-called Pattaya Beach, an elevated rock mound sometimes used by cavers when water floods the caves, Osatanakorn said.

If they knew this, why didn't they look there sooner?

That was their intent except the cave became flooded and made it difficult to reach the kids until today.

Ok so the boys and their soccer coach are found but how to get them out is the problem right now.  It's speculated they could be stuck for a few months until the raining season is over. In the meantime a nurse and doctor have reached them and food has been delivered.

My heart is still racing.

Can you imagine your child in that cave?

Anyway, three options for now to retrieve the kids and all of them are not good:  1) find an opening in the cave from the mountain forest above 2) let them say in the cave until raining season is over but what if the water level rises -  where do they go? 3) They're trying to drain water from 3rd chamber of the cave (near the boys) to "waist deep" so the boys can just float out (and hope they do it soon w/ rain predicting this Sat).

My heart is still racing......

Well heard it is a raining season there now so they might not be out till October.

Well the good part is that they are found and have the essentials to live like a king down there.  We talking about power up food and high tech coat for warmth plus fiber optics to talk to their parents.

6 hours to get to them plus 5 hours to get out.  Ouch...

News reported a volunteer Thai Navel SEAL died yesterday due to lack of oxygen during one of the dives.  Rain is expected this weekend and time is running out.  It's difficult to keep the boys in the cave until the rain season is over because lack of oxygen in the cave and the boys could died.

Wellllllll.... ..........this has got to be the toughest cave rescue ever! So many lives at stake and so young......... the whole world in on the brink of nervousness... .hearts racing......

My heart is still racing.......P lease take a moment to pray for them folks!

I'm just thinking, God makes the impossible possible and pray these children will be in his good hands.....and soon will be reuniting w/ their families...

Saw that in the news this morning. I cannot imagine being the parent that awaits my child to come home from this nightmare.
