Grandma & grandpa's garden
« on: July 11, 2018, 12:41:04 PM »
Love this time of year for fresh grown veggies.

Thanks to all the hard working grandmas and grandpas out there that dedicated their time and effort in the hot burning sun to plant seeds.
Without them, our Hmong community would suffer fresh vegetables.

Give thanks to those in your community today!

I thank the grandpa who gave me a batch of free green onions last year when I was buying veggies and spices at our local flea market.

"How much?" I said as I was picking up the batch.

"Just one dollar," he said. "Just take it," he encouraged more.

"Okay. Here's one dollar," I said.

"No, just take it. It's just one dollar."
