I was eating dinner (2nd shift) when all of sudden.
I heard one of my co-worker crying really hard, uncontrollable .
Tears were just rolling down her face.
It was baddddd..
we ask her why, and she just learn her landlord is kicking her family out due to late rent payment.

my company likes to hire all these temporary full time worker and pay them the $7.25 wage

here is a picture of the posting poster they had on the lunchroom

p=pebhmong, so you know im legit

Honestly, this is true to some extent, but getting paid 7.25 and depending on which state you live in, cost of living is pretty high. Statistically, someone getting paid $15.00 can barely pay for rent for a single bedroom place and expenses. I feel for your co-worker, especially if she has kids. If you are comfortable, please let her know she can prob apply for some aid. Emergency assistance to help pay for overdue rent etc..

i have to disagree with you
this ain't a question of not buying that brand new tacoma for $35,000

the minimum wage
when it was created was meant to provide you with livable wage
meaning, you can pay your rent, food, housing, utility etc...
maybe have some leftover to go on vacation and invest.

now
it just a thing  that business has at least bare minimum to pay so they don't get fined

my company hire these temporary worker and pay them $7.25
they usually work with us for 3-9 months.
some have been there over 1+ years too, so i don't know
they do the excalty same thing, that i do
but get pay wayyy less, no benefit too

pretty sad situation
i try letting my manager and upper leadership know, how i feel
but they don't give a F

i probably quit here pretty soon

Nope, I'll have to disagree with you.  Go and re-read my post.  Notice, I said, "spend within your means."  Just fyi, I didn't get that Tacoma.  Cause you know why, I know how to spend within my means.

$7.25 is already at the lowest means
don't know how low you can go

maybe dumpster diving for leftover food?
