u should give her all of your own advice on how to become a hmong millionaire...

you can only become a hmong millionaire
if the company pay you and match you good

if they have a matching 401k and you have some leftover for a ROTH
you surely can reach that one million with both of them combine

sadly, my workplace don't have any benefit to these temporary worker

wisconsin minimum wage is $7.25, it follow the federal rate

meanwhile california is $11.00,  it does not follow the federate rate because that the state minimum

i think MN is $9.65, i don't know, just googling

you have the federal and state
usually state> federal

but doesn't your "becoming a hmong millionaire" entail more than just maximizing one's 401k and roth ira... like growing your own jalapeno peppers, fishing and hunting for your food, etc...? maybe your co-worker can grow her food...

We are all doing the same work

I don’t have access to the state tax records
But if you google and believe
That 40++ million folks are in proverty in the USA

You know that is low pay

Gotta max out your 401k and Roth to be a millionaire
Maybe even mult millionaire
Can’t max if people don’t pay you good wages

Growing stuff cuz I care about the environment
Sustainable

Hard to do with the snow

Don't like it,? Get the fawk out.

Here in the silicone bay area, I see the same posting but it has 13.50 on it.  The kids here makes more money than y'all low paying folks.  In SF, $15 I believe.

But you don't have to live there.  Commute over them hills and deal with the traffic to find low rent.  It is a way of life around here.

yes you should

do the match at your work place first

so if they match 6%, you do 6% than switch over to the roth and max it to $5,500
than go back to your 401k and try to go over 6% if you still have left over till you hit the 401k cap at $18.5k

check out my old posting, i wrote

hopefully, you find it helpful

she needs to better herself. get a skill amd use it. or live with somepne else and share the cost of living. or apply for govt help

Instead for "better" themselves, some rather work less than "20 hours/week" and would rather "fake" their employers so they can go fishing..Like hmgFRAUD...and then go to social media to complain how poor they are so meh.. ;D
