Fluctuations in emotions
« on: July 27, 2018, 06:02:15 PM »
Is it bipolar when a person goes from happy to sad and back to happy every other day?  I've been trying to pay more attention to how I feel.  On a certain day (day 1) I could be depressed and the next day (day 2) (my state of mind changes and I look at things differently) and I'm happy again... and then the next day after that (day 3) I'm back to dark clouds and thunder... is it normal?  Am I normal?  Or, maybe it's my new medication...   >:(   ;D

you're not bipolar, you're just crazy! ha!

the biggest factor is isn't your meds but probably the person you're with.  if you got nobody, then it's time to upgrade your medication to "e" pills!  be happy all the time!

Good to know the definition, anonymouse. Thanks.

No, that's definitely not Bipolar.

Bipolar is commonly defined as experiencing episode(s) that lasts for several days (I believe it's a week) where you feel intense energy, restlessness,  inflated self esteem, etc.  that usually is followed by or includes a period where you feel intense depressive symptoms; low energy, decreased motivation, hopelessness.

Our mood can easily change from day to day, our mood fluctuates and is affected by everyday things; food we eat, what we wear, shit people say, what we see, hear, taste, touch,  and smell.  Our Interpretation s.
I can be happy today and be mad as hell tomorrow.

Doesn't mean anything is wrong with me.

Is it normal? Well there's not really a such thing as "normal."  Does it mean that you should get help?  That ones up to you.

Here's my big advice to you and anyone else that's experiencing something like this.  If your mood and whatever symptoms you are experiencing and they are severe enough where they affect your ability to function at home, at school, at work, or with your family/ peers, etc.  Then you may want to consider getting help.  Don't have to go to a psychiatric hospital.  Can easily talk to counselor, mental health specialist, or your PCP and then go from there.  Most jobs also have EAP which you can use also.

Maybe it is your medication.  That's also possible.

----------------
Here's something to keep in mind.  On some level, we all can easily be diagnosed with a mental health disorder.  The reason why we don't do it is because it's not recovery oriented.  Mental health becomes a major concern when the situation you face is causing a major impairment in your daily functioning.

Invest in a vibrator and use it everyday to charge that energy.  You should feel the same everyday.

Family doctors recommend their patients to a mental health doctors for evaluation.  50% only shows up.  Why?

Mental health is hard to cope with and few are in denial or just too embarrass to go.

Thus why we have online doctors but still, to get a better assessment, a specialist needs to see you and observe your conditions.

Unless we do it the webcam way but that's kinky business.
