Do it while you can. I finally had a chance to calculate how far it is from us as we just didn't drive straight there. Like with most of our road trips, we like to pull over or make detour to other interesting spots here and there along the way there too...so the miles are much more than if we just drove straight there..

A straight shot would be about 20 hours and 1,230 miles each way but we ended up racking about 3,000 miles round trip based on the odometer...Not sure how much time as we didn't care since we're on vacation...
