When I took these pictures recently, I thought about some of you PH fishermen i.e., Mechanic, flint-rod, Reporter, etc., HAPPY FRIDAY! :):

I have never fish from the pier before.....may be one day.  I went out on Wednesday after work and caught this.  Fishing top water and with the water being cover like that, I could see the fish coming up and biting on the lure.  Nothing big, just a 3 pounder.  BTW, thanks for sharing those pictures.

I prefer these more. I like one that reels the fish in, too,  but  that's  still just  a dream.

that's actually pretty neat how they built their own fishing grip to help them fish from the pier

Yep, never know when a great white may come lurking near the shore and yank that pole away... ;D:

Its all personal preference but I think pier fishing like that is boring :P ...but on a side note, the water looks good O0
