I'll keep a look out when I'm in the woods but so far no luck. Good for you.
Lots of deer hereI saw like 15++. Deer carcasses on a 30 miles road stretch A lot of us Hmong here are starting to hunt for trophy type deerWe’re letting the small, female, young, etc... goAin’t about meat these days More about bragging right
This year is a good year for squirrel hunting in MN. Trees had plenty of nuts unlike previous years. We bag our limit in a few hours every time we go out. I'm mostly into big game but I know all the hot spots in southern MN because I hunt big game down there.
If they are carcasses, then all the deer are dead and gone.
Morels are hard to find and people keep their spots secretive.
i don't hunt squirrels because i don't have an yearning to eat them... many of my family members who are squirrel connoisseurs don't even hunt high country squirrels... said they taste too much like pine needles... they do however prefer eastern plain squirrels where they feed primarily on acorn and corn...
every time i drive out east... i always see a deer carcass or two or three... deer run rampant in the mid-west and east...
