...Having others fill my auto's gas tank up for me still feels strange. I know it's the law so they have to do it but still... ??? :-\ :

Oregon. Only OR and NJ states required gas station employees to fill up customers' vehicles afaik...

When we were visiting families in OR.  We were at a gas station and I got out, about to pump gas.  My sister-in-law said, "no, no, no."  The attends will do it.  So I said, "okay."
