I think that's the same thing as the 7-year itch.

Mid 30's?

Come and go but I do remembered how lovely them children of other people are.   Children for sure for me in less than 5 years, considering that I'm fertile.  Only way to know is through medical or pop a kid, both routes I say hell no to.

I don't know......I'm almost 40 and I have no need for a new thing.  Be it cars/trucks/new wife/ or anything.  The only thing I want is be at the lake and fish.  And trips with the family.  Do you consider that mid-life crisis?  Or am I not there yet?

A lot of us are either entering our mid life or about getting through it.

It is a crisis after all.  If you do something that is considered as fawked up then that's a crisis.  You might not know what happen cuz denial is one hellava drug.

Like out of the blue...
You decided to cheat or frequent strip clubs.
You decided to drink more often
You decided to take PTO from work just to release yourself.
You decided to watch porno more often.
You buy toys just because

On the flip side..
You sleep more cuz you depressed
You eat more
You jackoff more
You don't want sex cuz your sex is wack or it doesn't stay up for you

What real is that the institution of mental health does not see it as a mental problem.  They will say that you will grow out of it.

Making a hundred friends is not a miracle. The miracle is to make a single friend who will stand by your side even when hundreds are against you.

I'll know if and when I cross that bridge.

In the meantime, this is a new day for me ... one that I have never lived before.  I stay in the "NOW" and enjoy each and every moment! :)
