yax, you just don't see too many of those "must hit by' jackpot slots no more...i kind of knew you were talking about those..the downfall of those slots is there is usually a mini jackpot...and if people are hitting those mini's, you have no way really of knowing whether the mini or major is in store, unless you keep tabs on that slot like an eagle everytime somene plays it which can take up to a few days...not worth it IMO...haha best time to play slots is after the tax season...when the houses pays off all its due to uncle sam, and what not...the popular casinos will then be more generous by then..lols just gave away another tip...

btw, took my half brother from france to the house yesterday night...didn't get too many bites..most of it was once you get a bite, you cash out...and wait a bit or while...get a bite and cash out..otherwise it's very common to hit a bonus round, only to lose it all back if you dont cash out and let the slot rest...haha .another tip given away..haha

we did win big on baccarat though...not my most favorite card game, but too many patron out in the floor, so we went into the high limit where we cashed out at about 2k each after going back and forth, until we finally caught a nice streak..bettin g 100-200 a hand in the high limit room..usually if it just me, i bet 500 a hand...but didn't want half brother to get hooked...altho ugh he claims he plays it all the time when he visits england..lols i gave him my 2k...and mofo was like "puas tiag mas?"..honestly i was expecting a little humbleness but he took it and put it right in his pocket...lmao

but of course...it was all luck....anyone can be a winner if they have the bankroll, but only very few can maintain great discipline, will, and patience...

that's it folks..I would had taken some photos, but I usually don't bring my phone with me into the house...need as many pocket spaces for chips and benjis..haha

please be safe and don't gamble folks...my intent is not to encourage gambling...but just to say, there is such a thing as people making decent to good money gambling....99% of folks don't have what it takes...its easy to know the ingredients, but hard to actually cook it up..very hard.... 8)

When they say the gambling god, this is what I think she means.

Always seeing the newbies be winning.  Every heard of beginner's luck?

Well she lets you win.  Then you get hook cuz it is easy right?  Then you play with the high feeling of the previous winning in the back of your mind.  Before you know it, you will be caught up in the gambling world, broke and cooking your paycheck to losing your house and business and divorce court.

Best advice is don't start.

yes, folks...don't start gambling....i win big, but also I lose big....i only gamble for fun, and when I do bet big, it's only because I had won big the previous session...I rarely ever keep dirty money..haha If I don't lose it all back, I donate it...hard to believe i know, but I am called the curse for a reason...haha

I tried this code at Grand Sierra in Reno.  Must call in though and have a player's card with them.

I got two weekend nights free, free two show tickets and no Snow on the weekend of the 22nd so it is a go for me.  Maybe such code can works for you too.  The online website shows sold out but when I called, the lady made it happened for me.

Free, no resort fees either.

For Sunday-thursday use N18DECS

For this weekend, use code E8DJYJN

For the 22nd weekend, E8DBWIL

Free room is the only reason why I go.

daC, what you're describing is beginner's attempt to win at Slots.  Trust me, slots are for fun only.  You can't make a living off it.  These pro slot players have alot of patience because they got other sources of income and slots is just a bit of extra income for them, that's why they have the patience to wait all day for one that's about to pay off.  Thinking a slot is about to pay doesn't make it pay.  Waiting for a certain time of day doesn't work either.  They're random for a reason.  I have a friend who used to setup slots for some of the major companies like Rallys and IGT.  It's a server based solution, all the slots report to a server that handles the processing.  Basically, no slot is waiting to pay.  It's all random whether one pays or not.

If you want to play like a pro, stick to the "Must Hit By" machines and wait till they're close to the limit.  These machines pick a number already and will hit when that number is reached, no matter what.  The number is the random part, but if it must hit by $500 and it's already at $495 then you know that number is somewhere between $495-$500 which is a small range.  Other than that, you got no chance unless you play progressive video poker, but they took all those machines out and nowadays, the only progressive video poker machines will be community machines so they all share in the progressive, that way pros can't take advantage of a machine like in the old days.

In sluts, we know that the machine needs to pay back something to make it a fair play.  The house never loses thus why you see them having so many machines around.   There are table gamblers who know this so they only play tables and vows never to be scammed by the house with sluts.

So for every $100 in, she has to pay back $30 so if speak cuz if you are not winning, you wouldn't or stop playing that machine so she let's you hit a small one to hook you in.  You think you a winner till you keep on adding more funds to that machine, just to have the machine pays you back small.  Before you know it, you'll be down a few bill.  Keep at it and you will lose your azz off cuz our mind keeps on thinking that the longer I play, the machine has to hit somehow.  It does not have to hit for you or today.

So best strategy is to hunt a whale or a pumper who keeps on losing.  Your job is to calculate their loss and once they ran out of money, your new objective is to try to win some of that person's money without the machine jacking you up too.

Also learn how much a bonus spin typical pays.  Like it makes no sense in you feeding the machines for $200 when a typical bonus run will pay back about $20.

actually, the payback is higher than $30 out of a  hundred dollars and it's heavily regulated bye the govt.  In the end though, the odds are still worst than table games.  O0

Quote
BIGGEST SLOT MACHINE JACKPOTS

Elmer Sherwin is undoubtedly a lucky guy. He hit not one but two of the largest slot machine jackpots in history! The first win of $4.6 million was on a Megabucks slot machine at the Mirage in 1989. Sherwin decided to visit Cannery Casino in North Las Vegas in 2005 to test his luck. There he won again on a Megabucks slot machine, but this time he walked away with $21.1 million.

Mr. Sherwin was in his 90s when he hit his second jackpot. A few years early a 25-year-old software engineer won the highest slot machine payout in history. In 2003 the young man won $39.7 million playing a Megabucks machine at Excalibur.

In 2000 Cynthia Jay raked in the largest jackpot at the time. She won nearly $35 million at a Megabucks slot machine in the Monte Carlo Casino in Vegas. But less than two months later Jay was in a horrible car wreck that killed her sister and left Jay paralyzed from the chest down.

Last August a resident of Hawaii came to the main land for a Vegas vacation and traveled back home with a lot more money. The woman was playing penny slot machines at the Wynn casino when she won $10,777,270.51.

Yax, you are aiming for easy wins or almost sure ways to win....that is why you fall in the 99% category...the 1%'ers knows it takes time, lots of time, and sometimes a big loss, to win big....haha it's too much of a risk for majority of people...and majority of people simply just doesn't have what it takes, not just to win, but to lose....it's all a roller coaster ride...and if you don't have the skills and knowledge to know when to pull the trigger...save your money, it much more rewarding..guy s like me, we only started to gamble because the world once had no place for us....so in a sense, we were born to be huslters...hah a 8)
