How do you pick who gets a present and who don't?

Do you buy Christmas gifts for all the little ones in your family including your spouse's family? If not, how do determine which child gets one and which one doesn't?

Everyone gets a present.

Blood is thicker than water

If they gift your children, you do the same for their kids.

Don't play favoritism.  Gives one, give all unless they naughty. 

As long as your budget allows.  Make a pac with your spouse that you both shall not gift one another but uses that budget to gift others first. 

Gift your father mother inlaw?  I wouldn't after you marry her but I would to get cookie points if y'all are still dating. 

Bottom line, y'all Hmong got too many siblings and each one has a pack load of their own

Its always so hard to pick who's kids to buy for around this time of the year. You don't want to look like you're playing favoritism towards one group because we all know that's how a lot of issues starts among families. I should just play scrooge and say F* everyone ;D

all jokes aside.  we, guys just did secret santa.  I already got my secret santa's gift already.  had the wife wrapped it up and it's ready to deliver.  other kids, they got their mommy and daddy.

a lot of kids take things for granted. I always have to remind my boys how my life was when I was growing.

No picking or choosing in the past.  We used to purchase gifts for everyone (immediate family), but now we do Secret Santa.  8)
