Happy Belated X-Mas.  Was your X-mas Merry?

Falls on the weekdays both Xmas and New year's so it kinda throw a lot of working people off their schedule. 

But great in a way cuz the holiday seems longer like you already partied on the weekend and thinks that Xmas is done for but there she is again on a Tuesday so it is like having two Xmas to cheer to. 

New year is next, same situation, same routine.

getting to spend time with the kids and wife is always good. But I didn't get anything this year or maybe is just late    Christmas came and went by  way too fast

Great as always.  The adults had fun.  The kids had fun....(I think).  Lots of good food.  Lots of 🎁 exchanges.  I won my FF league.  So yeah, it was good.

The biggest surprises I got were two gifts from a little girl.

I babysat her for years when she was a toddler. And I bought her lots of gifts--play dolls, other toys and trips to museums, schools, etc. Since she's reached 7, I no longer babysat her. I decided it was no longer a thing to do.

Surprisingly, this Christmas, I came home from an out-of-town relaxing trip, and two boxes of gifts were waiting for me. She and her mom had dropped them off. They were addressed to me from her: three pairs of warm socks and a sleep suit, just right for the winter.
