heat and wildfire in the CA
expensive homes and living expense in both
overcrowded

Depends on who you talk to  but generally speaking, we have good weather, snow, desert, and ocean here in CA...Hmong people are generally get treated better here on average due to its' diversities unlike the midwest and south from my observations over the year.

Either state will be better in that sense than where you're at the moment...As mentioned, CA also has snow so it can get cold in some parts too like Lake Tahoe for an example...

Also if you like snow so the kids can play in it or what not, skip FL as I don't think it has snow.... ???

Florida has Disney world, whereas California only has Disney land. Florida has orange, California has orange. Florida has Cubans,  California has Puerto Rican. Florida has Pitbull, California has Ricky Martin. Florida had a riot, caused by a King, Martin Luther king Jr. California also had a riot caused by a King, Rodney King.

why not try TX, OK, AR, or CO?  The only thing that I hate about FL is the summer. Midwest people complain about their humidity problems but trust me FL is another level of humid :P Other then that, the spring, winter, and fall is beautiful there O0
