what does the FED RATE increase mean for you???
« on: January 03, 2019, 06:58:52 AM »
i know they didn't teach us about money in school
and kinda of have to learn that by yourself or go to school for it

when the FED increase the interest rate
it get more expensive to borrow money
to buy cars, houses, etc....
for example: it use to be 3% but now it's 5%

since it get more expensive to borrow money
your regular saving/checking interest rate is also going increase
right now, as I type this,
you should be around the 2% interest rate in your saving/checking
if your bank is not offering that, than it's time to switch bank

a question i get ask is

why is my interest rate so low/high

because when you put your money in the bank
it gets loan out to other people
so they can buy cars, house, start business, etc....
so you get some interest back
it will still show you have $10,000
but really, it's probably $5,000 at the bank
and the FED control the rate

No care about interest rate if you follow the hole in bucket theory.  Water leaking from bucket so you have to put water into the bucket to be optimal.  They charge you 2% more so you have to make that 2% by allowing the bank to take your money and lend it out and give you 2% while it collects 10%.

Interest rate rises could mean a strong economy so who not want that? :2funny:

it makes borrowing money hard and expensive (interest on loan)
the economy isn't strong, when you still got like, i forgot the number
but something like 70-80% of people living paycheck to paycheck

wish i was i have $10,000 back in the 80s
i would lock in a 30 years treasure with a 15% rate
hahah, easy half a million right there

NOPE, "that's all you, man"..since you're the one that claimed you're "the hmong Nostradamus and is always right"...No "grudge" but more like pondering why you would do all that when you're "the hmong Nostradamus and is always right"...And NOPE, you also tried use your "Nostradamus" claim for the "lottery" too...That last big Mega Million drawing was an EPIC FAIL on your part though...

If you want me to stop pondering, then "grow a pair" and own up to your mistake of claiming to be "the hmong Nostradamus and is always right" and admit that you're a fraud and will learn from your mistake of being a fake "Nostradamus" since you failed time and time again... ;D O0
