Peirce's Theory of Signs

What is a sign or a symbol?  Crazy stuff.  Can all things be reduced to a sign?  But a sign must be perceived, received, and interpreted...

So boring that I stop at the first paragraph. His theory is a mess and there ain't a single point talking about a sign. ::)
