Was talking to a distant relative in Wi..

She asked me about my work and I told her and she says "es niam txawm neb ua shift ib, shift ob los eb na?"

Me: Oh, we don't have second shift or third, we only open during the day.

Yax, us midwest folks have many shifts at the same time!  shift 1 is your primary job/duty, shift 2 yog pojniam (some work double time in this department because they have a girlfriend/mistress, on the side), some have siv 3 for kids...and then many others work a 2nd shift for more income.  We always busy, we work sometimes, 24/7! ha!

if you work 8/9 to 4/5, then technically you work 1st shift...  :2funny:
