i have 6 credit card..... allow me to explain...stop using cash

we were always taught how to manage our money
that we need to use cash only and spend that
and when that is done, you are done

the probably with that is
you don't build up any credit
and can't get all these reward card that offer amazing deal like 1-2% cash back
or flight miles so you can go on vacation and stuff

if you switch to cards
and have some self control
and treat it like when you have cash
it can be a good thing

with my 6 credit card
i have access to $20,000 line of credit total on the spot

but just because have $20,000 of credit
don't mean, im going go out and buy $20,000 worth of stuff

have some self control
buy only what you need

i use the target redcard for an easy 5%
target can be kinda of expensive to shop there
but if you find some nice deal and go when thing are on sale
it can be a bargain

Back in the days my wife have no debt, no credit card, no credit, and she can't even get a car loan because she had no credit history.  We had to get her two credit card and start to use them and pay the minimum to build credit for over 9 months and her credit score skyrocket and the rest was a piece of cake. 

Agree, must be discipline and use the card base on what you can afford if you had cash only.  Today, both our credits are above 700 and we have no credit card debt.  We held on to an American Express card and a Visa card for just in case situations.  Life is good.

plus it is safer too
i had my card info stolen
the thief spend like $6,000 on purchases
and after filing the complaint with my bank
everything was drop and i owe nothing

one of the cards i have, spend $500 in 3 month get $100 promo
easy money
i should get these from just paying my bills and grocery
once, i get this reward, i drop the card and move onto another promo reward
don't really hurt my credit score, despite people saying it drop your

Wrong. When I bought my first brand new car in the early 90s, my credit score wasn't that good but after making 60 months of my car's payment on time, paying rent on time, paying my utilities on time, paying for other consumer goods that I borrowed money from an financial institute from, my credit shot up without a single credit card in my wallet...
