Zaj in St. Paul, MN

So I've been listening to Zaj stories and I've also hear a lot of stories about Phalen Lake having dragons. Does anyone think this is true? And I also hear that it also depends on your last name? A lot of the ones are Xiongs, Lees, Yangs and Vangs?

That's interesting.I didn't know dragon demons have our last names.

But that might explain why they keep marrying our people. Each time a Hmong man or a Hmong woman has drowned, it's because that person is bed wedded and wet by the dragon demons.

Or so the elders say.

The interesting stories at Phalen are that most of the drownings happened in pairs. Very strange.
