Our company hired someone who claimed to know a lot about technology, then on the first day, the person training her said "We need to be on the webinar this morning" and she had no clue what a webinar was but still insisted she was hired due to her broad knowledge of technology.  She didn't last very long.

We say we know just to get hired but we say the version of this software or equipment is newer so how about a little bit of training?
