believe it or not....sometim es I catch a couple only.  but it isn't about the amount of fish I catch. but about the complete comfort and enjoyment of being out in the water where you can navigate to different part of the lake if you chose.  plus, this particular lake has a no motor restriction.

Depending on water condition, I love to drop a line down while being in motion.  It is that catch that is worth it for me like a surprise catch.

Large mouth bass are Savage as heck.  Dropped down a weedless rubber work and dragged it kind of a fast speed in thick vegetation and she ate it.  Normally I would get biatch at cuz a snag will have the pop turning the boat around and that is time wasted.  I did not go on a fun fishing trip just to get biatch at but as a kid, I wanna be like them guys I see on TV with the bass boat and all.  Older now, I wouldn't get me a bass boat unless it is dirt cheap to free.  I need something that is versatile and I can live without them large mouth bass.  Let's say I've upgrade and I'm chasing other games now.  I still get a chuckle seeing young kids by themselves and at the edge of the bank, trying to catch them bass.  It is all about the focus, the eye of the tiger for bass hunting.  Not like my friends who kept on catching the biggest fish and the guy hardly tries.  Like setting his pole just to piss or turn over a chicken wing on the grill to see his pole peeling.  That's not fishing.  That's just luck and no skills whatsoever.

my advice to you is to use as much nature color as you can
what i mean by nature color

is color that you would find in the wild

blaze orange is not a nature color
that's why it's used for ID hunter in the wood
so we don't shoot each other

when buying artifical bait chose the nature color like brown, silver, shad, etc...

I was thinking of that too.  But a couple reason made me changed my mind.
1.  too expensive, the one I was looking at was($3K)
2.  the lake I fish has a lot of weed, I don't know how well those fins gonna do.....not to great I imagine.

and not to mention, those are bigger and heavier.  need something I can manage myself without the aid of a cart.

ok, three reasons.

more and more companies are producing affordable peddle drive kayaks... the one i want is roughly 1.5k... peddle driven kayaks make sense because our legs are our biggest muscles...

in your case depending on the body of water... you can always attach a trolling motor on yours...
