drew brees took a paycut back in  2015 or 2016
forgot which year, but recently

and the SAINTS are on fire ever since
just look at their last 2-3 season
they are on a hot streak

they got screw this in the playoff with that call this year
BUT IT IS WHAT IT IS

the year before that

STEPHON DIGG IN MINNESOTA AND THE MIRCALE IN MN

Doesn't matter, he hasn't won since taking the pay cut so it still depends on several factors, NOT just pay cut...

highest paid QB
not a huge fan of OVERPAID QB, CEO, boss, people, stuff

it's not rocket science
one man does not equal 5-10 guys

1. Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks
2. Aaron Rogers, Green Bay Packers
3. Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons
4. Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings
5. Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers

Might as well add Tom Brady on that list too because his salary easily "equal" to "5-10 guys" on the Patriots' roster...

Yes, you are "blind" or just have reading comp issues as usual because haven't seen anyone said he was in the "top 10" but he's still one of higher paid QB in league overall and yes, his salary still "equal" to or more than "5-10 guys" on the Pats' roster.. FACT!!!

And also yes, Brady is one of the highest paid QB to win a Super Bowl based on "salary cap" so it does "work" at times...FACT!!!

Highest paid or taking a pay-cut has nothing to do with winning Super Bowls. It’s their decisions to take a cut or demand their worth. One of these top four QBs will win the Super Bowl in three years.

Name one lowest paid QB who have won one title in the modern era.

it doesn't work, never has

Yes, it has "work" and yes Tom Brady was one of the QBs that has won a super bowl while being highly paid based on "salary cap"...

You don't get it but that's okay. The list of names will never ends, it's that way with any sports. But how many QB on that list have won? My point exactly.

Again, since you've missed the point I'll say it again, one of those highest paid will win the super bowl in three years.

Oh, what was your answer to my question, you could not come up with anyone right? lol

But how many QB on that list have won?

if you look at the high paid QB #1 pass few years
they never make it to the superbowl or won it

Matthew Stafford   (zero superbowl)
Andrew Luck   (zero superbowl)
Aaron Rodger  (just a lousy one in 2010, never been back since)

fact don't lie bro
if you are paying someone that high
you expect to be at least the last two men standing

don't work
never has
never will

You're only focusing on those who haven't won, so of course you will find them. How about giving us a list of the last 10 super bowls, and tell us how much they made per year?

i'm not cherry picking
that is the list of the top paid QB year by year
tom brady salary is low
he doesn't even make it to the top 10

look at 2018 when FOLE MAGIC is in the air
he was paid only a mere $10 million ( probably in the bottom 20s)
carson wentz is still on his rookie deal, so probably just a few millions

https://www.si.com/nfl/2018/12/26/nick-foles-carson-wentz-philadelphia-eagles-contracts-2019

Foles was amply rewarded in 2018 for his “bail out” last year. The Eagles gave him $9 million guaranteed—a $2 million signing bonus, a $3 million roster bonus, and a $4 million salary—with significant per-game playing time bonuses (and those amounts doubled in the playoffs, as well as many performance incentives). Foles will end up north of $10 million for 2018, as he should. Staying with the Eagles in 2019, however, is highly problematic.
