check out this monster smelt that we caughtdidn't have any measure tapebut the boot size 11 inchesi got average hand
Man...that's cool. Only one among the ten that I caught was big enough to impress me. But it didn't seem to look comparable to yours.I already went out this Sunday and caught my limits of LMB. Then I kept fishing and releasing the rest...There was this lake that had so many, I saw them swimming by my boat and I kept casting at them. Some ignored my baits.
i got no boat or kayakno truck to pull itthat's okay, thoughi prefer the shorelinei do just as good as those on the boatim not a largemouth bass guythey are a little bit too fishy for my tastecatch and release for them onlyi prefer them yummy whitebass betterbut it's all preferences
Too many people are releasing them. Their population is overcrowding the lakes. I'm trying to reduce their population. But I know I can't ever do enough.Shore fishing is perfect for LMB. Where else would they find grasshoppers and frogs or even crawfish but on shallower waters and shores? Can't get to do too many grabbing stunts in the air if there's no bug or bee on shore twigs to jump to.But this lake just has some islands of weeds and lilipads that the bass love to hide in.
