When you are spending $50-100 everytime you go out
Aka: boat and car gas, maintenance, etc....

Better off just buying tilapia at the store

Lets do an all shoreline fishing
No fancy equipment
Fish finder
No boat or kayak

Than we will find out who truly is the fishing master

Mr. Mechanic, I went out and caught lots on Sunday.
Cool!  I went out too.  None on Friday.  About 13 on Saturday, all under 2 lbs.  All catch and release.

Do you fish largemouth bass? They are the most fun to catch. Not necessarily to keep or eat.

That's real cool, too.

Mine were 2 lbs. and less. A few 2-pounders. I saw one so huge, I got scared. At first, I thought it was a carp. But then it appeared clear in the shallow, clear water that it was a LMB.

Sure. Let's go down to Marshall, MN and do that there. We'll pack some brats and sticky rice for a picnic to enjoy at lunch, too. We aren't going to grill any fish. We'll release all catches.

It's a public lake. Three fat Hmong guys were also fishing from their boat nearby. Lots of other non-Hmong anglers, including a boat with two
White guys and a Black guy.

I did use a fish finder. Plus,  a depth finder. But those fish were so easy to spot with my own eyes on eye glasses. Water was shallow enough to see the bottom in most of the spots.

Land of the 10,000 lake
You sure, you not fishing in a private lake/pond??
Thats kinda of cheating

Plus you probably using them fish finder sonic equipment

Thats a little too hardcore and expensive for me
Im trying to catch as many fishes ad i can
Under $20-30

Yup.

And when they're hooked and they flip into the air to shake off the hook...Most exciting thing in life!

Cool. Yeah, those are big enough to create excitement on top waters.

Yup.

And when they're hooked and they flip into the air to shake off the hook...Most exciting thing in life!
wind was blowing from the south south west at about 14-15mph.  I thought it was winding but we went out anyways.  because of a small hill on the south side blocking the wind, I parked my kayak in the weeds and I thought, pretty good place to throw in a frog.  did and within a few cast.....I was able to pull in a couple of these.  on top water.  man, oh, man.....nothin g gets the heart pumping when reeling in that frog and the fish hits it.

this one was on a chatter bait..probably the biggest of the afternoon at 2lbs 3oz.

Bluegills are good.  We rented a cabin a couple summers ago where we all can catch them fishes right of the dock.  Later that night, my brother cooked it and it was good.

going fishing later after work today.  wind from the north so, we're going to hit the north side.
