Thaub Laus Nkauj Mos Ab
« on: July 05, 2019, 12:46:46 PM »
I get sick to my stomach when I see things like this.  I don't mind someone closer to your age but come on, that's just a kid.

Tus txiv neeg no yog leejtwg tus txiv los yog kwvtij ua li cas mus tim nplog zoo li mus saib nkauj mos ab xwb...

Cov txiv neej hmoob coj zoo li no mas dhuav tiag tiag li!  Yes, I'm venting.  See, if I don't see, out of sight out of mind but when I see it, I need to vent or else I'm going to get high blood pressure which I don't need.

She looks mature enough.

When we are there and they know we are from America, they love us. Some even let go their local boyfriends. That's why those guys always feel threatened when we are there.

I like  his shirt though: MURICA.

I don't know if Hmong people will ever get rid of this backward thinking because people tolerate it, even people who should know better.  Maybe because it's not your child so who cares right?

I'm not saying I approve of this. I'm not saying I'm going to be doing this. I'm not even doing this. I was there and I didn't even do this.

But I'm saying she isn't a teenager anymore, it appears. This particular guy isn't that old, either.

Interesting the video has been removed.   In the video she says she's 15 years old and I'm guessing the guy is 40+.  I understand Laos is a poor country and back in the homeland it's OK for old guys to go after young girls but still we should not tolerate this backward behaviors.  It's not right.  Never was right before, now, or in the future.

People there have no restriction on age when it comes to relationship.

Now this one, I don't approve of.

There's restriction on age and men starts to look at girls 14 or over differently.  Also, OG is OG doesn't matter if you're 40 or 50 or 60 or 70..leave young girls alone.

Not true.  Before a girl starts menstruating, she is view as a "child" by our society.   Even OG predators stay away from them and parents know better to protect the child.  But as soon as she starts and body starts developing, she's game.  It's this mentality we need to change.  Just because a girl starts developing and has her woman's cycle does not make her a woman YET.  In our society, we associate a woman's cycle to being ready (ready for marriage, ready for relationship, ready to have a child, ready to tham luag nraug, etc..)  It's just sad to see these OLD OLD men treating these young young girl like they are hluas nkauj.

We can't apply modern standards to ancient practices.

The OGs are ancient; the girls there live in an ancient lifestyle. Now you can see how they get along so well. When they are together, despite their different looks, they have a similar heart, mind, and interest: mostly just the physical aspect of each other.

OG's from the US, when it comes to their own daughters know very well to apply modern standards but when others' children, they refer to ancient practices.  It's sad to see your own people exploiting your own kind and that takes the level of exploitation to a new low.  It's bad enough when other people exploits your people but when done by your own kind to one another - that's heartbreaking and sad.

Li cas los kavliam tabsis yog thaum kuv pom tej tug thaub laus nrog tej tug ntxhais mos ces ua rau kuv tsis muaj qhov xu xu siab tabsis muaj qhov dhuav and tu siab nrog.  I suppose because I'm a mother and like all mothers in the world you want your children to be happy, have the choices to choose their life, their love, their destiny, and not be exploited by others.

Canít help it, too many are hypocrites. Preaching is one thing but following it is another. Iíve seen respectable public figures behave like animals in a secluded settings.
