The Office. White people love that show. I can't stand it.

I tried to watch an episode and found it boring and dumb as heck,  Tried the second one, just incase the first was a fluke, but NOPE. Confirmed, hated the show and the bad humor; but I swear, all the white people I know just love it. How about PHers? Anyone find it funny and addictive?

Maybe the humor is just not creative enough for me?  I mean, I see that and think.. okay, he's talking about Welding.

Maybe I have to be really, really drunk before watching it again.  That way, I can laugh like everyone else.

I be honest.  I don't laugh at all of the jokes that white hollywood be spilling out.  Like them late night comedians with bob hope.  I only laugh to jokes that tickles my fancy which is about 20% of their contents.  Now with the jay leno show, make that 80% cuz I love mexican racist jokes.  I also find azn jokes to be tasteless but I do laugh at those too.

Jay Leno, yeah, he's got some seriously good jokes.    Seen him live once, after he retired from the Late Night show.

The issue with the office is that it seems like a a low budget show.  Give a guy a camera and watch a bunch of friends faking their office dynamics.  It is funny because the boss is all involved into it as well.  I mean they are there to mess up work, not work and yet, still got the budget to call it a stable job.  That is what makes it so different cuz we can't do that kind of stuff like hoping on our desk or drop to the ground and play dead at work. 

redneck jokes.  Either you love it or gotta be a redneck to enjoy it.

Part of the humor lies in seeing the stereotypes portrayed in the show in a real world setting.

Most of us who do work in a similar environment have met the real world versions of our Michaels and Jims and Stanleys and etc.

Remember the show originally had British roots.
