Dayton shooting. The Republican blame game starts now.
« on: August 04, 2019, 11:39:16 PM »
Quote
State Rep. Candice Keller, R-Middletown, said in a post to her Facebook page that blame for the Dayton shootings should be placed on the breakdown of the traditional family, gay marriage, violent video games, professional athletes who protest the American flag, recreational marijuana and “snowflakes, who can’t accept a duly-elected President.”

That's how it is when folks can't learn from their wrongs and instead foam badly when disproved by facts and continues to repeat their cycle of ignorance.

Trump, today, blamed it on mental illness.  Geez, doesn't that sound familiar?

Makes sense when you use the Republican line of thinking:

1. Is he Muslim? Yes: Terrorist; NO: Goto step 2
2. Is he Black? Yes: Gang related; NO: Goto step 3
3.  Is he Asian? Yes: Evil, just pure evil; NO: Goto step 4
4. Is he Mexican? Yes: See, mexico sends us their criminals, this is what happens; NO: Goto 5
5. He's white so either look for some signs of mental illness or blame it on Video games if all else fails.

Meh...depends:

Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush (R) — Jeb’s son — became one of the first major Republicans to speak out strongly against the apparent ideology behind the El Paso attack, calling it “white terrorism.”

I'm sorry, he has no authority over the Republican party leader known as a President Trump so his dissidence carries no weight.

You never mentioned "leader", you just said "Republican line...", Yeah, NOT surprised to see you change the rule as the game goes... ;D

Guess what ever Trump's voters/followers/sheep think don't matter either since they are not the "leader"...even if they are the ones doing the damage at ground level....For example shooting up people due to hate... ???

It is not a gun problem.  It is a psychological problem....men tal problem.

Careful how you say it is a mental problem.  A mental psychologist will probably disagree with you.  Some of these mass shooters have a unique blueprints to them and that is a self bullet to the head.  In layman's term, that's suicide.  Now there are many people who go and kill themselves but they are not mass murderer.  You see, suicide victims have a pattern in their cognitive behavior which can be linked to depression.  If you know anything about depression, which sux cuz I've once been there before and it is a feeling of not want to do anything or weakness with no strength to do anything.

Now if these shooters are depressed people, how they get the strength to even leave their house?

Thus why, these experts in the mental health fields will defend their profession and not to link this killing act with the mental health word.

More studying needs to be done cuz I'm saying that it could be a combination to a few that made one flew over the coo coo nest.

group thoughts, leader thinks that way, they think that way. No difference.

Trump already said "Mental issues" so it's officially mental issues.

It is a mental problem but why are Reptards so against having more scrutiny buying a gun. There needs to be better screening for people wishing to own a fire arm for self protection or recreational use.

The point is not all "Republican" said that so when you paint all with a broad brush, it's very ignorant. Kind of like how some White people like to paint all Hmong and Asians as dog eating neanderthals. I know, I know, you can't help it as it's part of your make up...
