Andrew Luck retires
« on: August 25, 2019, 12:19:30 PM »
One of the nicest player I’ve seen. Smart and good arms. Too bad with all the injuries. What could have been. Good luck to him and his future.

Saw Luck played at Stanford a couple times and he was a great QB. He could've been great in the NFL too if weren't for all the setbacks...Don't blame him one bit though. Heard the Colts were nice enough to give him the $24 million too...

As a player who loves the game, it’s not that easy making that decision.

I’m not a pro and just playing soccer for fun and it’s not easy deciding when to stop.

No respect for those fans who booed him. It’s his life and his health is far more important than football.

You put any qb on that team and you are talking about injury too.  The colts failed him big time by not investing in getting a strong O line to protect their investment in an elite qb.

Now colts gonna have to rebuilt.  Every other teams out there already ahead of the ball game.  I may have to sprinkle a little money on the colts to winning the superbowl.  You never know.  Odds will be good.   You also never know if the colts will pick up colin kap for a 1 year deal to try him out.  Let me buy before that happen to get some value in my future buy.  $5 to win $1000.   I hope so.   :2funny:

I'm sure the colts will pick somebody up.  Best to buy before that happens cuz when eli or whoever great gets picked up, $5 to win $20   Not much of a value there.

So that make's him a good business man.

He has every right to quit. Just like they have every right to cut him. Smart of him to retired early and still can live a quality life. Haven’t you seen the causes of injuries and what it can do to some players?

According to NBC sports the Colts knew since March that Luck was going to retire.

So does that mean you're not "nice" since you purposely go "underground" to steal from the poor and "milk" things as much as you can like "fake sick calls" and such.. ???

Nothing "wrong" with them as they felt he had sacrificed so much for them already and earned it..
