Regardless of $0 fees, I still don't have money to play with the stock market. I'm just a old communist. :2funny:

The rule still applies. For you to gain, someone else has to lose. You could very well be the loser too.

The real villain is looking at you.  The last hero was just not true.  If everything works out in the end.  It's because all things make amends.

instead of "picking" stock
just go with the market (total stock market)

the US government ain't going let the stock market crash
that would mean the 4 horsemen has arrived on earth

too big to fail

Why do all that just to be a "small fish" when you can just win the lotto since you're the "hmong Nostradamus and is always right"??  ???

There is a zombie apocalypse plan...but there isn't a stock market crash plan.  :2funny:

TD and Etrade changes their pricing.  I'm day trading on e-trade and their pricing changed the beginning of this month.  The friction is 1% of your trade and at most $5.  That's pretty amazing and so now I can trade more, trade less sizer to minimize the risk, and keep more in my pocket.

This is all thanks to Robinhood creating the biggest competition ever!  I'm loving it.

Temporally, the market is zero-sum from trade to trade, but holistically, the market is cyclical and evolutionary.  One might say life is zero-sum too because an animal has to die for you to thrive, but we all know we all die to feed each other.  The conservation of energy holds true, nothing is created or destroyed...it is merely changing (evolving) from a form to another.  So by looking at it this way it doesn't matter.  Now if you are thinking about people's feeling, then man, that's a deep loaded question because our mere existence causes suffering to the nth level.  And so, the buddha is right...to live is to suffer, and the purpose of living is to become enlightened.
