Not saying it only happens in boonie redneck country but I'm picturing a scene from texas chainsaw.  I mean in that movie show, even without the chainsaw guy, the people living there were highly disturbed. 

When you are in isolation, you play god and can make up your own rules.  I know a hmong guy who rented a home just because it has a big azz backyard and since it is out in no where land, he ran a cock operations.   Triangle looking boards all over the place.  Count each one and you know how many he got.  Now imagine if he was sick, he would have one human tied to each one.

Nothing wrong with the basement but when a grown azz "lazy" man just wants to live in his "mommy's basement" and play COD day and night with zero contribution and rather leech off his "mommy", there's definitely some wrong with that..

"I THINK SOMEONE IS JEALOUS"..from being proven wrong and had to back pedal because he first claimed there's "no basement" in California and now he back pedals to "rarely"..

houses here are dirt cheap
you can get a decent one for $50k
paid it off in a few years
and live debt live

some of our midwest PHer member has more than one houses

so dirt cheap
got lazy folks who only does bare minimum living the american dream  :2funny:
