College Football Talk
« on: November 19, 2019, 07:41:34 PM »
Last week I was rooting for number 7 Minnesota against Iowa but they got hot too little too late.

Here’s the latest college football playoff rankings.

1. LSU
2. Ohio State
3. Clemson
4. Georgia
5. Alabama
6. Oregon
7. Utah
8. Penn State
9. Oklahoma
10. Minnesota

ohio state, if they can beat penn state this weekend by a large margin will get my vote to be the top seed.

LSU either rested their defense on their last game cuz they gave up a whole lots of points and only won by a td or so.

clemson did not play anybody special this year.

georgia got a qb by the name of Jake fromm....  We jokingly calling hims This is Jake from State farm

bama is probably done and out of the playoff race without tua.  It is predicted that bama this weekend, the back up qb mac something something will put on a show since the spread is something ridiculously high in the 50s against a cup cake school.

oregon is solid but they play slow and soft for some odd reason but win games.

utah, if they win this week will automatically be in their championship title bout.

oklahoma with jalen hurts.  That's my boy.  They were once the top offensive team in the nation and is now sitting at #2 and what a come back by hurts last week against baylor.  It is known fact that their defense is too soft and their offense is the reason why they are winning games and the reason why they are not up there in the top 5.

murdersoda is playing no offense northwestern team this weekend.  I think the spread is only 13.5.  NW is only good for 2 td the most but they do have a stiff defense though.  Murdersoda got embarrassed by an iowa team last week so this is a redemption game here.  Beat nw by a ton and maybe the committee will consider them into the playoff.  I say a big iffy cuz they losing to iowa stung them bad.

I think either lsu or ohio state will take it.  Both have explosive offense and whoever can be better on the defensive side will take it all.  Defense wins championship.

Joe burrow qb for lsu for heisman now that he is standing alone with tua out.

Lots of funky games for their last game this season.

Like ok vs ok st.
like wash vs wash st
ore vs ore state?

But the best game is michigan vs ohio state in ohio.   Good luck to the michigan team that wisconsin once whooped them this season by an embarrassing score.  Michigan is clicking at all levels after that game and they are playing super duper football right now.  Ohio state will still win this.

Penn state is probably going to be in the Rose bowl, I was hoping to see Minnesota there lol.

Alabama and Oklahoma Sugar bowl.

Minnesota can still get in the Orange bowl.

I have the Gopher's winning out. NW "should" be easy but it's the home game against the Badgers that I'm looking forward to. I didn't realize Penn State was back in the top 10.

Interested in seeing next year.

Alabama is getting the top QB prospect from the number 1 high school in the nation.

Clemson is getting the number 2 prospect from the number 2 school.

Rival teams .

Wow..

Folsom Bulldogs lost..  They dominated norcal football championships for atleast a decade now.

Damn that's something you don't expect after how they smashed monterey trails last year.  Props to the mustangs for coming back hard this year.

Now onto.

Mater Dei vs St. John Bosco.

Number 1 against number 2 in the nation again.

Will history repeat itself?

last year. Bosco was number 1, mater was 2. Bosco beat Mater in the season but lost in the championship.
Mater was number 1 and won during the season.

Oregon drop to 14th and Herbert just ruin his chance in getting top money in the draft.

Blame him for the 2 INT's. But their Defense was atrocious. The YAC's killed them. 5 yard slants turned into 20 yard gains. All night long.

LOL. that's probably cause no one pays attention to high school sports unless it's "their team."  I don't blame them, it's a bit hard to follow since they rarely air any games on tv or facebook.  I follow the games as much as I can.

Sometimes the news would air the game live on facebook, but they never tell you which game it is, so you'd have to watch and take a guess (stupid).

Would love to see the Bosco and Mater Dei games though.

Ohio State retake number one.

Minnesota retake number 8, their highest ranking this season. Beating Wisconsin will most likely secure their spot in the rose bowl.
