Yes, right now I’m on my way going on a 2 hour trip just to see a movie.

And I think you guys know which movie I’m talking about too. I find it super puzzling that this movie is not even playing in a fairly big city like Fresno. As a matter of fact, even in the whole Sacramento region it only play in a single location at Elk Grove.

"Ip Man 4" is cool. We have a Chinese-owned AMC theater just 10 miles from my place. I go there to see the series 3 times each.

Remember last time I told you we should go to China just to see Jackie Chan and you would have your chance at the Mousuo ladies? Well, I would have gone that far just to see "Mulan" if it's played only in Beijing. But, of course, she's coming here in March.

By the way, if you teach, you should practice your preachings correctly.

"Farther"  applies to physical distance.

"Further" applies to ideas.

Reporter you know I was so pissed off. I waited for Ip Man 4 for years and then only to find out that it does not even  play in my city. As for Mulan, it’s a Hollywood blockbuster so it will be played in every single theater in the U.S. just like “Rise of Skywalker”.

And if I’m not mistaken aren’t all AMC theaters owned by the Chinese or they at least have majority ownership?

It's all Chinese-owned now.  And the Chinese love Donnie Yen.

If it wasn't for Liu Yifei and Doua Moua, I wouldn't even bother watching "Mulan."

I think that’s an understatement . Donnie Yen is universally loved by all race and nationality. That’s why I’m just so confused that it’s release was so limited. And I think only AMC theaters release Ip Man 4. The theater I’m on my way now to is AMC Metreon 16 in San Francisco, supposedly one of the finest theaters in the country.

For some reason I’m not excited about Mulan at all just like I don’t give a shit about those Star War movies. I’m very surprised Mulan has so many big stars in it including Jet Li and Donnie Yen...and also Jason Scott Lee.

The general American audience does not find Chinese martial arts on the screen very appealing. A theater that buys this movie might not make back what it has paid for.

It's a woman hero the movie is about. That's probably why it doesn't get you.

Oh no not at all. If Hammer Girl (Julie Estelle from The Raid 2) has a martial arts movie out I’ll be the first in line. She is amazing on “The Raid” and “The Night Comes For Us.” I heard she’s going to have her own solo martial arts movies. If the people of “The Raid” are doing it it should be a hell of a movie.

I also very much enjoyed the “Resident Evil” franchise with Milla Jovovich and the “Underworld” franchise with Kate Beckinsale as well just to name a few.

One of my favorite superhero shows is “Jessica Jones” with Krysten Ritter on Netflix.

I see. Liu Yifei isn't American enough for you then. Gotta be some hot sexy White mama to catch your attention.
