You only hear CRICKETS because OPGN is a day trade. In and Out. I made a 30% return on it by buying low and selling high based upon my setup. I watched the volume break the resistance and I bought in hard, and I sell out. You wait a year to get a 30% return on a pick. I did that in 1 day. Granted, I've lost 10% too. But as long as you use only 5-10% of your total portfolio per trade and set a good stop-loss, and focus on your trading plan, it can work. It's not easy, but it can work. It's not meant to hold overnight...th
at's not day trading anymore. This isn't for peple who don't know anything about the stock market.
You said it yourself. You have years of experience, but you've never bought a single stock. Heck, you are scared to death of buying a single stock. Let me put it this way for you. The top companies like Goldman Sachs, JPM Chase, etc... They have technical traders on their staff. These guys make MILLIONS of dollars in salary trading. My cousin has an inlaw who trades on Wallstreet and she manages HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS. She's probably racking in a million-dollar year salary w/bonus because they got big nice houses in an expensive area of the NE.
So while you dogging on a brother for talking about trading, be open mind about it. You are so closed mind because you are so fearful of losing. Sometimes, individual stocks aren't for people who don't know how to assess the underlying value of a stock. I think you got a finance degree, didn't you take investment and security? Did it scare you?
In regards to the market correction, you yourself said the index are overvalued. Then you go on to say buy the index into your 401k using dollar cost averaging strategy. Great overall strategy but the timing is off as you've indicated with overvalued. I'm just confused...eit
her the market is cheap or the market is overvalued. You say it's overvalued.
At the end of the day, you feel threatened that somehow I care to steal your thunder as the PH member expert financial advisor. Get over the ego mentality and be open-minded to learn new things like how to catch a sturgeon. You only live once, live life to the fullest.
You talk about index correction
