Was talking to an older Filipino man in the produce department and he said, durian smells like hell but taste like heaven ...the jack fruit on the other hand is more neutral..

It is an acquired smell

I once took the outings and put in my old beater ride. My car smells so good. Had to discard it because the innards is a breading ground for fruit flies.

Tried it in raw as well as in boba form and the taste was just so-so to me..More power to you if you like it...
