The City of Ashland Parks and Recreation Department has posted the following report:
Local Residents are still able to dip net for smelt. * Out of town travelers are encouraged to stay home and abide by the Ashland County Health Department Travel Advisory. * Smelters are to stay 6’ away from one another even when gathering in groups of 10 or less, * No more than 10 people will be allowed on the Bayview Pier * The Safer At Home Order #12 will be enforced City of Ashland’s Recommendation s for Bayview Pier is open, City Ordinance prohibits attaching/anchoring anything to the pier, violators will be cited.
