Father-in-law said college like MIT but I'm like as long as my girl picks a "E"

..I'm good. 

My father-in-law is a retired Engineer so he's pushing hard for college such as MIT in regards to my daughter's future but I'm like nah, I rather see her choose the path she wants to follow even if it's not college.

As long as that path leads her to become a productive member of society and she's happy in it.

Basically what I told him was as long as she's doing one of the "3 E's" after high school, I'm good..
