about two years ago, when the FEDs start cutting interest rate
i had some cash in hand.....
i put away $10,600 into a 5 years CD Rate at 2.8%   (can't find that rate these days)

CD are safe, low risk
high interest account
i got 2.8%

almost $11.3k today!!!

CD rate these days are pretty low
around 1% ish

i lock in my rate two years ago when they start cutting it

that's not even 1%
but a tenth
