The weather is slowly cooling down, signaling the coming of fall. It's still hot, but the humidity is no longer as unbearable.

and soon, it'll be summer again.  the cycle repeats itself year after year.

KLS brings back so many memories.

https://youtu.be/_tv3OM8uO3g

I'm reminded of lazy summer days, sitting in the passenger side of my sister's car driving around town, AC on full blast with KLS playing in the background. Those were the days when the world was our oyster and the future was full of endless possibilities. We were young and carefree. We fought like cats and dogs. There were days when we hated each other's guts, but we were all that we had, so we always eventually made up.

So much time has passed since those days.

I came upon a few videos of my nieces and nephews on my phone today. I forgotten I had taken these the last time I was home. They gave me a good laugh, but also made me a bit sad. I don't know when I'll be seeing them again thanks to covid.  :(

I've been feeling a bit homesick lately. I know it won't be until next year (at the earliest) that I'll be able to see everyone again. It's just not safe to travel at the moment. At least, I personally don't think it is.

---

As I get older, I remember less and less of my childhood. Growing up, I thought my parents always took a lot of photos of us. However, the last time I was home, my mom pulled out all the photo albums she had and there were noticeably less photos. I couldn't find some of the pictures I vividly remember seeing previously.  :-\ My mom did say that my other siblings had taken some of the pictures.

I went through my boxes of crap at my sister's and threw out so much junk. It was ridiculous to say the least. I went through my photo albums and realized most of the pictures were of my bff and I.  :D ;D Some of them brought back memories I had completely forgotten about. Oh the good times we had.  :)

I can relate but I also donít want the week to go by fast, since I have deadlines this week.  :-\

Hopefully youíll have a great rest of the week so you wonít feel that way.   O0

How can the days feel so long and yet pass so quickly at the same time?

I think I need to go see a doctor.  :-X

A person's life is similar to most others, in the end. It's all quite ordinary. However, they just have to take care of their star pockets. That's what's important. Even in an ordinary life, there are times when something sparkly floats by. At those times, you must not miss it, and keep it carefully in your star pocket. So when you are having a tough time later, and you feel exhausted, you can take out your stars and look at them...and endure the hard times.

You can't reason with crazy people, so for your own sanity, don't bother.

I've been questioning whether I will regret the choice I make.
