Presidential Debate Last Night
« on: September 30, 2020, 08:45:59 AM »
Did anyone watch it?  I did and I almost turn off the TV but decided to stay the course and see what happened.  VP Joe Biden has lots of ammunition but he did not use them well to his advantages.  Pres. Trump did a good job of wasting the entire debate so VP Biden have less time to talk about the horrible state we're in under his watch.

He wants "crystal clean water and air" and he's done a phenomenal job since we have the lowest carbon.  He doesn't believe the forest fire in CA is related to Climate change but rather poor forest management and suggested "planting trees."  The Paris Accord was a horrible deal for the US.  He relax carbon fuel policy to reduce cost.

It was horrible, but  I couldn't turn away.  Just waiting to see Trump hang himself with his lies.

When askedto condemn White Supremacy, Trump's response was "Proud Boys, stand back and stand by".

It's more of their boss giving them orders to stand by, instead of a President who is condemning White supremacy and Militia groups.

Trump tried to push him to say he approved of the Green New Deal but he said NOPE! I got my own deal.  :2funny:

Trump, on the other hand was saying California only had forest fires because of bad management.  Like WTF?  He still saying they don't rake their forests?  He's obviously never raked anything before to believe someone can rake a whole forest.

Trump has spoken to the leader of the wood elves.  He's been to the forest cities of Europe.  ;D ;D :2funny: :2funny:

Quote
“In Europe, they live, they have forest cities, they’re called forest cities. They maintain their forest, they manage their forest. I was with the head of a major country, it’s a forest city. He said, ‘sir, we have trees that are far more—they ignite much easier than California’…

Yes I saw the poll and that's great news.  However, we still have two debates left.  Next time, I hope Biden does not fall into Trump's trap.  At this point, Trump will do all he can to press Biden's button to make  him slip, to show he is who Trump has been saying all along -incoherent, mental decline, etc..

Trump even put out an ad on this very issue.

and last night's debates sort of show that for me.  Trump is very slick.  He'll make you believe the sky is red when you know it's blue.

Biden needs to stay focus, stay on topic, speak his ideas, and plans to the American people and just let Trump make a fool of himself.  He doesn't need to join Trump at his game.

Debates are just for entertainment only.  Most people already know who they're voting for.

True. Most. Only some need those debates. And many do need those debates.

Wow, can't believe some of you actually spent time on such time wasting events like presidential debates but it's your time that's wasted and not mine so.... ;D

Have not seen any political debates at that level for decades excepts for when watching the news for other more important and legit stories and they happen to show the highlights...

Been around long enough to see how big of a waste of time political debates are because it doesn't change anything..at the end..
