$1000 for these two office chairs is well worth it for us

You get what you payed for so with a price like that, I'm guessing the comfort ability of these chairs are royalty status.  Good way to invest in something that brings the money back to you.

When we bought it back in May, it was about $440 each plus tax...

At the time we didn't know how long we'll be doing virtual work so figured get something that will be comfortable all day and made to last even if it cost more than average..We made the right choice.

How’s your purple bed holding up since your purchase?  Any complaints? What do you like best about it? Just laying on the mattress at stores for a few minutes doesn’t give me a good feel compared to someone who have used it for months. Appreciate your inputs in advance.

Purple bed is holding up good. No complaints thus far. Best pro is it's as comfortable as memory foam type mattress but it's much cooler due to the design per my experience thus far and you're welcome, good luck with your search  :
